Hot oil treatments keep your hydrated. It is a relaxing method because by getting massage from the warm oil, your scalp will be relaxed and your light wavy or curly hair will be relaxed. You can do hot oil treatments with coconut, olive, almond or sesame oil.
  • Select one of the oils from the above and slightly warm it in microwave for 20 minutes.
  • Massage your scalp with this warm oil for 20 minutes.
  • Distribute the oil in the hair while combing.
  • Wash your hair using the mild shampoo.

2.  Coconut Milk

Coconut milk is known to be best for straighten the hair. For making your hair shiny, lustrous and beautiful, always choose coconut milk because of its moisturizing ability.
  • Take a glass jar and add one cup of coconut milk and juice of one lemon then mix them well together.
  • Place the glass jar in the refrigerator for 5 hours. You will see the creamy layer on the top of the glass jar.
  • Massage your hair with this coconut cream properly also on the scalp. Leave the cream in the hair for 30 minutes.
  • Cover your head with the moist towel.
  • Wash your hair with the shampoo.
  • Comb your hair while it is wet.

3.  Milk

Milk has moisturizing properties that can help in making the hair straight and smooth. The protein is present in the milk contains the fortifying ability to make hair gleam and frizz free.
  • Take one half cup of milk and equal amount of water add in it. Mix them together thoroughly and store it in a spray bottle.
  • Comb out the knots in your hair and spray the mixture all over your hair and then comb it again.
  • Leave it for half an hour so the milk gets absorbed in your hair.
  • Wash your hair with a shampoo then use the conditioner in your hair.

4.  Eggs and Olive Oil

Eggs also contain protein as the milk so that help in making the hair stronger. On the other hand, olive oil is used to keep the hair moisturized. When these two ingredients combine together, they help in straightening the hair.
  • Take two eggs and whisk it gently until it looks like spongy mixture then add four tbsp of olive oil in it.
  • Apply this mixture in your hair and scalp.
  • Comb your hair with a wide-toothed comb.
  • Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave for half an hour.
  • Wash out your hair using a mild shampoo.

5.  Fuller’s Earth

Fuller’s earth is commonly called as “multani matti” and it is strange to know that it also takes part in the hair straightening. It helps in getting rid of frizzy hair. It is just like a mild cleansing agent and do not damage the hair.
  • Take one cup of fuller’s earth, one egg white and two tbsp of rice flour.
  • Mix them together properly.
  • Add some water in the mixture to get a thin texture.
  • Apply this mixture to your hair then comb your hair.
  • Leave the mixture in the hair for an hour.
  • Rinse it off with the water.
  • Now if you want, spray the milk in to your hair.
  • Leave it for 20 minutes then shampoo and condition your hair as usual.

6.  Aloe Vera

Certain enzymes are present in aloe vera that helps in promoting the hair growth. In addition, it also gives a shiny look into your hair. Aloe vera has moisturizing property to keep the strands of hair strong and straighten naturally.
  • Take half cup of aloe vera gel and half cup of warm olive oil.
  • Prepare a thin mixture by mixing the both together.
  • You have also an option to add two drops of each of rosemary and sandalwood oil.
  • Massage the prepared mixture into your hair and scalp.
  • Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave for two hours.
  • Rinse it off with a mild shampoo.

7.  Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar also acts to make the hair straighten and smooth naturally. It plays an important role by storing the hair’s natural pH levels so that improves the hair growth as well.
  • Take a cup of water and add two tbsp of apple cider vinegar then mix them thoroughly.
  • Use this mixture as a final rinse after shampooing your hair.
  • Leave this liquid in your hair and allow it to air dry.

8.  Beer

Beer is alcoholic and the alcohol present in the beer helps in giving shiny and smooth effects in the hair because it acts as a cleansing agent.
  • Take one cup of beer in a pan and boil it until it reduces to half.
  • Let it cool down and mix a cup of the shampoo that you use regularly.
  • Wash out your hair with this homemade mixture or you can say homemade shampoo.

9.  Castor Oil

You can make a home remedy with the castor oil for having straight hair. It helps in conditioning of hair and let the hair stay hydrated.
  • Take two tbsp of castor oil and one tbsp of soybean oil. Mix them together.
  • Warm the mixture in the microwave for 20 seconds.
  • Massage your scalp with this mixture for a few minutes.
  • Leave the mixture in your hair for half an hour.
  • Wash off your hair with a shampoo.
  • Comb your hair while it is wet.

10.  Celery Leaves

Celery leaves also take part as a hair straightening ingredient with its natural effects.
  • Take a bunch of celery leaves and finely chop them.
  • Put the chopped leaves in the juicer then add a little water so that the juice can be extracted.
  • Strain the juice with the help of muslin cloth.
  • Store the juice in a spray bottle and keep aside for two days only.
  • After two days, spray the juice all over your hair.
  • Comb your hair with using a wide-toothed comb for spreading the juice throughout your hair.
  • Massage your hair and scalp for few minutes then cover with a shower cap.
  • Leave the juice into your hair for half an hour.
  • Wash your hair with a mild shampoo then finally conditioner.
