In everyday life, forgetting things must be a serious note

Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia are other issues that could

in your lifestyle. The natural remedies for improving memory are as follows:
1. Almonds
Almonds are meant to be very good for increasing your brain
power as it is a complete treatment. It contains omega-3 fatty acids and rich
in antioxidant that is the reason due to which you can boost your memory. On
the other hand, almonds are also good for your eyes.
- Take 10 almonds and soak then in water overnight.
- Peel off the skin of almonds and grind them in the next morning.
- In a small pan, add one glass of milk then boil almond powder in it.
- Now for taste, add a little sugar.
- Drink almond milk daily for 40 days.
2. Rosemary
Another herb used for improving weak memory is rosemary. 2013
studies have shown in University of Northumbria that rosemary has a kind of
aroma that directly affects to your memory and create a sharp sense and
prospective memory (ability to remember something to do in the future).
- In a cup of boiling water, add one tsp of rosemary and steep it for about five minutes.
- Strain the solution and add little amount of honey in it for taste.
- Drink it daily for few weeks.
- You can also add some drops of rosemary oil to a room spray to breathe its aroma.
3. Black Seed (Nigella Sativa)
Black seed is commonly called as “Kalonji” that is easily
available at home. Kalonji is said to be a mind-sharpening energy. It has
anti-inflammatory and antioxidants. It also protects the sensory nerves.
The Journal of Ethnopharmacology has been stated that the
patients suffering from weak memory should consume two 500 mg capsules prepared
with pure ground seed powder.
- In one-half tsp of ground black seeds, mix a little honey for taste.
- Make a paste and eat this twice daily for few weeks.
- Black seed supplement can also be taken after consulting your doctor.
4. Indian Gooseberry
Indian gooseberry is a popular herb and common name is
“Amla”. Widely used in Ayurvedic medicines and so for sharpen the memory and
protect the nervous system.
A study shown in Journal Physiology & Behavior in 2007
that a medicine is prepared named as Anwala churna which is used to improve the
memory and control the Alzheimer’s disease. It also makes the immunity system
strong as it has anti-oxidant and vitamin C present in it.
- You would directly consume the three tsp of Anwala churna three times a day for few weeks.
- Alternatively, you can prepare a mixture of one tsp of Indian gooseberry and honey.

6. Fish Oil

Fish oil tends to improve your memory and also helps in the reduction of cognitive decline. It also lowers the chances of formation of brain plaques (a condition related to Alzheimer’s disease).- Fish oil supplements are best to take containing 600 mg DHA.
- Consume it daily after consulting the doctor for proper dosage.
- Include some edible fish in your diet like salmon, mackerel, herring and sardines.
7. Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is also beneficial for reducing the side effects
belonged to the dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. It protects and nourish the

healthy nature to your hair and skin.- Drink one tsp of organic, cold-pressed, virgin coconut oil two times daily.
- Add coconut oil in your baked foods, salads and smoothies.
8. Cinnamon and Honey

in improving memory in healthy individuals.

120 to 600 mg per day for the improvement of cognitive function.

- Eat a balanced diet containing all the nutrients like vitamin A, B12, C, beta-carotene, folic acid, zinc, iron, calcium and magnesium.
