DIY Rice Water Toner
If you have not tried to wash your face with rice water,
then you need to try it. This DIY rice water contains only two ingredients,
white rice and water. It will help to purify and give a good tone for your
skin. This recipe has been used for many years by the Japanese and they have
clean skin and fair complexion. This DIY toner contains many beneficial skin
properties like Vitamin B1, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and minerals so this DIY toner
will cure the acne, scars, dark spots, shrink the open pores and prevent the
wrinkles, fine lines and crow’s feet.
This DIY rice water toner is easy to make and it gives you
soft and clean skin just after the first use. Here is the recipe.
Ingredients
1. Rice – Half Cup (any kind will work, but I prefer either
Jasmine or white rice)
2. Water – 2 Cups
Directions
1. First wash the rice to remove the dirt, and then put the
rice into a pot and cover with water.
2. Stir with the hands until the water color turns into cloudy.
Or you can sit for 20 minutes to change the water color itself.
3. Now strain the rice and preserve the water into a bowl or
jar. You can keep this water in a refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
How to Use
You can use this DIY toner in different ways:
1. As a Cleansing Water: use this water to wash your face and neck.
Let your face dry in the air.
2. As a Toner: clean your face and then soak a
cotton pad into this water and rub it all over face and neck. Follow it in the
morning and before going to bed. This will help to shrink your open pores and
clean your skin from any dark spots and blemishes.
3. You can also use this rice water on your hair to
considered and excellent hair conditioner. After shampooing, rinse your hair
with rice water and leave it for few minutes then wash your hair.
