Home Remedies for Dark Circles

Dark circles or dark discoloration of the skin is found under the eye area that is also known to be as dark rings or shadows.

1. Almond Oil
Almond oil proves to be a great ingredient for settle down the dark circles problem and is beneficial for the delicate and pigmented skin. Almond oil will help in fading out the discoloration; you can also use vitamin E oil to eliminate the dark circles.

4. Rose Water

6. Lemon Juice

  • Use a cotton pad to apply fresh lemon juice under the eyes then leave for 10 minutes. Rinse it off with water. Use this remedy once daily.
  • Another option you can do is make a thick paste by adding one tbsp. of lemon juice, two tbsp. of tomato puree, pinch of gram flour (besan) and turmeric powder. Apply this amazing paste around your eyes and give a gentle massage over there. Rinse it off with clean water after 15 minutes. Repeat the remedy three times a week.

7. Coconut Oil
Massage coconut oil under the eyes because it is naturally effective to lighten up the dark circles. Coconut oil contains moisturizing properties so it helps in promoting the smoothness of the skin and prevents it from having wrinkles and fine lines under the eye area.
  • Take a little amount of extra-virgin coconut oil and massage under the eyes.
  • Leave it for few hours then wash it off.
  • Repeat two to three times regularly for some months.

8. Tea Bags

10. Turmeric
